<p>There is described a valve/actuator interface for attaching an actuator having a driveshaft to a valve having a valve stem, the interface comprising a body (1) provided with fixing means (14) to enable the body to be secured to the valve and to the valve actuator so as to be positioned therebetween, the body having a main bore (2) accommodating a coupling element to transmit torque from the driveshaft of the actuator to the valve stem, the body further comprising at least one internal passage (5, 6) extending adjacent the main bore and having positioned therein a sensor for detecting a predetermined angular orientation of the coupling element within the main bore (2).</p> |
