Cleaning of textile materials

To clean textile materials, and remove house dust which can trigger allergies, a gas and specifically carbon dioxide is applied to the material directly before or during a suction treatment, to kill the dust mites. At the same time as the treatment with gas or suction, or directly before their applications, the material is pref. vibrated mechanically to loosen particles from the fabric. Pref. the carbon dioxide is held in liquid form in a supply container, and applied to the material at a temp. of about -10 deg C, at high pressure. Ultraviolet rays are pref. delivered to the fabric directly before or during the application of carbon dioxide gas.
