An infinitely adjustable end-stop on one end-face of the ring (4) passage (40) can be externally accessed through a radial opening (12) in the single-lever valve and serves to limit the swivel movement of the adjuster lever (21). The adjustable end-stop consists of a threaded pin (6) which rotates with prescribed resistance within a tapped hole (42) in the ring. The end-face of a tab-shaped side strap on the lever makes contact with the end-stop, and the radial opening can be closed off by an external plug. In detail, the valve parts are encapsulated within the cartridge housing (2), using cold and hot water feeds and end cover (11), the adjuster lever so positioned and guided as to swivel round a horizontal axis (20) to open and shut the tap valve. The handle (5) is twisted round an axis (10) to control the mixed water temperature.
