The heat exchanger has parallel, straight tubular elements (2,2'), which are connected to one another by bent elements (3), in order to form a continuous path for a heat exchange fluid. The connections are secured inside sleeves (6,6') by solder. The sleeves are formed by openings (5) in a module (33), which runs across the longitudinal axes of the elements. Each sleeve has an inner curved surface (7) in order to enclose the outer walls (8,9) of the ends of the adjacent elements in the region of a connection (10). This creates an area of radial overlap (13) between their neighbouring end walls (11,12).
