<p>Novel family of N-substituted polyazacycloalkanes comprising from three to five nitrogen atoms. The derivatives are essentially characterized by the substituents carried by the nitrogen atoms, which are selected, in particular, from the hydrogen atom, propionic acid and some of its derivatives. The invention also concerns the chains introducing a second polyazacycloalkane-derived ring. The novel derivatives of the invention are suitable for preparing paramagnetic gadolinium complexes for the pharmaceutical industry in particular, for use especially as contrast agents in medical imaging.</p> |
