Transmission line equaliser for microwave signals

The equaliser has a capacitive device (8) inserted in series with the signal path and a pair of series circuits, each having an ohmic resistance (9, 10) and a parallel LC oscillator (11, 14), connected respectively to the input and the output of the capacitive device. Each oscillator is connected to a reference potential, eg. earth, on the opposite side to the ohmic resistance and is tuned to the upper limit frequency of the signals transmitted along the line.
