The paper feed tray (2)is positioned over the developing devise(4) and is fixed to the casing main body (150) to incline with respect to the installing plane (152). The end of the paper in the tray (2) or the front end of the tray (2) faces to the upper surface of the developing device (4). The paper transportation path (3a) is provided by the toner case (6) of the developing device (4). The paper transportation path (3a) is connected to the paper transportation path (3b) which is in parallel to the installing plane (152). Since the paper end in the paper feed tray (2) faces to the upper surface of the developing device (4) and set being inclined, the apparatus width between the manual inputting section (5)and the output section near the output roller (R3) can be reduced as compared with the length of the paper feed tray (2).
