PURPOSE: To obtain a material for recording excellent in copied or recorded image- forming properties without causing wrinkles or jamming even in reutilization after peeling the image and in recycling. CONSTITUTION: This material for recording has <=1.8% elongation in the cross direction (elongation in dipping in water) when dipped in water at 20 deg.C for 1min and 5-9 rank of sizing degree for penwriting after treatment with a wetting agent in the material for recording made of paper consisting essentially of cellulosic fibers. This material for recording is obtained by applying >=0.3%, preferably 0.5-1% water resisting agent comprising a resin such as a polyamide epichlorohydrin or glyoxal or melamine formalin, >=2%, preferably 2-5% water-soluble polymer such as PVA, starch, polyacrylamide or carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and >=0.3%, preferably 0.5-1.2% sizing agent having -0.6 to +0.9 contact angle when a liquid having 40mN/m surface tension is dropped onto a dried film prepared by drying the sizing agent to the paper consisting essentially of the cellulosic fibers and forming a structure for protecting binding parts among the cellulosic fibers An image removal promoting liquid is applied to an image formed of a hot-melt or heat softening ink to heat bond and/or pressure bond the image to an image peeling member. Thereby, the image is peeled and the material is recycled so as to enable the reutilization. |
