PURPOSE: To provide a laser beam machine with which processing of a relatively large and smooth taper angle is exactly and rapidly executable and mass productivity is excellent. CONSTITUTION: A laser beam 102 oscillated by a laser oscillator 101 is converged by a mask and a laser beam transmissible part deforming mechanism 180, by which the laser beam 108 having a desired and arbitrary shape is formed at a processing point. The mask and the laser beam transmissible part deforming mechanism 180 are formed by superposing two sheets of masks 181, 182 to form the one laser beam transmissible part 200. The shape of the laser beam 108 is controlled by moving one or both masks 181, 182 to continuously change the shape thereof, by which hole machining of a tapered shape is executed. The taper angle is freely settable by changing the moving speed. |
