<p>PURPOSE: To enhance the degradation degree of a thermosetting resin, increase oil recovery and lower energy consumption by pyrolyzing a thermosetting resin waste together with the thermoplastic resin waste. CONSTITUTION: This method for decomposing waste plastics is carried out as follows. A thermosetting resin and a thermoplastic resin are stored in storage tanks 1a and 1b, respectively. The thermosetting resin and the thermoplastic resin are mixed and fed to a pyrolysis oven 2a from the storage tank at a specific ratio. They are decomposed in the pyrolysis oven 2a and condensed and liquefied in a cooler 3. A liquefied oil is recovered in an oil storage tank 4. The amount of pyrolyzed gas during the process is detected and observed by a gas flow detector 36. The pyrolyzed gas is sucked blower 5 and a non- condensed gas in the cooler 3 is exhausted from the suction blower 5. After finishing a gasification by pyrolysis in the pyrolysis oven 2a, the gasification by pyrolyzing the mixture of the thermosetting resin with the thermoplastic resin in a pyrolysis oven 2b is started. The mixture of the thermosetting resin with the thermoplastic resin is continuously treated by repeating the above mentioned operations.</p> |
