PURPOSE: To reduce power consumption at the time of start and during the drive of a hydraulic construction machine by driving hydraulic pumps for operating a hydraulic actuator by using a main motor having large displacement and a submotor having small displacement as drive sources. CONSTITUTION: Hydraulic pumps 12, 12a, 13 which supply pressure oil to operate a hydraulic actuator are driven by a main motor 14 and a submotor 15 as drive sources, which receive power from a battery mounted on a hydraulic construction machine. In the control at the time of start, successive commands are output to a second clutch 21, a flywheel 22 is rotated in accordance with the drive of the submotor 15, and power is transmitted to the hydraulic pumps 12, 12a, 13 via a third clutch 23, a suboutput shaft 24, a second bevel gear 25, a combined output shaft 26, and a damper 27. Power of the main motor 14 is output to a main output shaft 18 and is combined with power from the flywheel 22 by a power combining output mechanism 19 to output it to the combined output shaft 26. |
