<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick connector joint to stop a flow passing through a joint when a male member is set in nonclosed position by enabling a flow in two directions passing through the joint when the male member is set in closed position by a tube-activated check valve disposed inside a hollow. SOLUTION: An axially extending window, i.e., a punched part 80 expands into cylindrical parts 72 and 74 of a plunger 68. When a joint 10 is assembled completely, a check valve opens and fluid is allowed to be flowed through the joint. An end 18 of a male member 12 is brought into contact with the opening end of an outside cylindrical part 72 of the plunger 68, and pushes the plunger 68 to the inside to compress a spring 66. The window 80 of the cylindrical part 72 extends beyond a sleeve 50, allowing the fluid to flow through a clearance between the male member 12 and a pipe connection part 42 of a connector main body 20. When the joint 10 is disconnected, the check valve is closed, and fluid can no longer flow through the joint.</p> |
