PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical blind which can be simply operated and by which vertical lighting control, etc., can be adjusted. SOLUTION: In a vertical blind in which louvers 14 are hung from a plurality of respective carriers movably arranged in a head rail 10, a screen 22 which is openable/closable along the head rail 10 and covers the upper part and its vicinity of the louver 14 when closed, is provided.
