The modular plate or platen for a watch comprises a first element (20), at least one connected plate element (30) located against first element, both parts having opposing faces between which at least one element of movement is located. Tenons (28) projects from the first element and conform w.r.t. it in pairs which are coaxially arranged, and oppose each other w.r.t. the plan of the element (20). The tenons serve to position one of the plate elements w.r.t. the other.
