<p>PURPOSE: To stably impart proper electrification property for a long time to toner particles and to permanently obtain good picture images by using a fluorolutidine deriv. as a charge controlling agent. CONSTITUTION: The toner essentially consists of polymer particles or powder particles by melting and kneading in which a fluorolutidine deriv. is used as a charge controlling agent. As for the fluorolutidine deriv., a compd. expressed by formula is used. This compd. has extremely good compatibility with a binder resin so that the compd. can be uniformly dispersed in the toner when a minute amt. of the compd. is added. By this method, the toner has stable electrification property for a long time and picture images which are permanently stable can be obtd. Especially when 2,4,6-ABTF is used as the deriv., almost the same charge amt. as in the initial state of copying can be obtd. even after lots of copies are taken.</p> |
