<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a conduit tube from sliding out in an axial direction, by inserting an end part of a conduit tube in a main body of a coupler, screwing a tightening nut, and cramping these members through inner packing until a flange projected from a sleeve is cramped tightly between a coating end face on a conduit tube and an inner face of a main coupler. CONSTITUTION: A tightening nut 6 and a packing member 7 are fitted to a conduit tube 2. A sleeve 8 is inserted between a tube body 21 at an end of the conduit tube 2 and a covering layer 22. The sleeve 8 is pushed until a flange 81 is fitted to an end of the covering layer 22 and a flange 82 is fitted to an end of the tube body 21. The covering layer 22 swells outward on the sleeve 8. At the same time an end part of the conduit tube 2 is fitted to a main coupler 5 and a tightening nut 6 is screwed thereto. As the tightening nut 6 is screwed, a packing member 7 is fitted tightly to the main coupler 5 and the tightening nut 6 to seal a gap between these members. As a result, water-proof and grounding characteristics in coupler are improved, and the coupling work is carried out effectively.</p> |
