PURPOSE: To produce a color filter having high accuracy and high reliability without color defects and having a color pattern of desired arrangement in a simple production process. CONSTITUTION: The production method includes the following processes [1] to [5]. [1]: A transparent conductive layer is formed on a transparent substrate. [2]: A photosensitive compsn. containing (a) a polymer having hydroxyphenyl groups, (b) a compd. having two or more vinylether groups, and (c) a compd. which produces acid by irradiation of active energy rays is applied on the conductive layer and heated to form a positive photosensitive coating film layer. [3]: The photosensitive resin layer is exposed in a desired shape, heated at need, and then developed to expose a part of the transparent conductive layer. [4]: A color part of a desired color is formed by electrodeposition on the exposed conductive layer. [5]: The processes [3] and [4] are repeated required times. |
