<p>PURPOSE: To manufacture a chip resistor, on which a resistor film is formed on the upper surface of an insulated substrate, and the connecting electrode film for both ends of the resistor film is formed on both left and right edge faces of the insulated substrate. CONSTITUTION: Long grooves A1 are formed on a ceramic base material substrate A on which a number of insulated substrates 1 are connected, a resistor film 3 is formed on each insulated substrate, an electrode body is formed by filling electrode material paste in the long grooves A1. After the electrode body in the long groove has been cut into two electrode body pieces 2a and 2b extending along the long grooves A1, the ceramic base material substrate A is divided into each insulated substrates.</p> |
