PURPOSE: To obtain the television receiver in which a desired video image is controlled by simple remote control operation without increasing the number of pushbuttons and without increasing the number of times of operations of the remote control in the case that a desired video image is remotely controlled with the remote control in the case of displaying plural video images in the television receiver on which plural video images are displayed. CONSTITUTION: A transmission light from a remote controller 19 is received by light receiving devices 1, 2 and an amplitude comparator 7 compares amplitudes of signals, as a result a light receiving device switching signal 14 is outputted to a changeover device 8 and a controller 13. The changeover device 8 selects either signal from the light receiving devices 1, 2 and a synthesizer 9 synthesizes signals from the light receiving devices 1, 2. On the other hand, a mode selector 10 selects an output signal from the changeover device 8 or the synthesizer 9 and the selected signal is A/D-converted and given to the controller 13. |
