PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive developing device by which excellent image quality is secured, which is miniaturized as to a mgnetic roll type developing device developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrier. CONSTITUTION: As for a fixed magnet where a magnetic roll is constituted of a cylindrical rotary sleeve 311 and the fixed magnet 312 arranged on the inside of the sleeve 311 and a magnetic sheet 314 is wound on a fixing shaft 313; both ends of the magnetic sheet in a peripheral direction are arranged to be on a downstream side from a developing area and on an upstream side from a developer peeling area. |
