PURPOSE: To so display the display content on a display screen as to be easily seen even when the screen is, for example, deflected upon vibration of a vehicle in a display device mounted in a bicycle, etc., to display the traveling state of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: The traveling state of a bicycle is calculated by a CPU 25 based on the front wheel rotation detection signal (a) received by the receiving circuit 27 of a receiver from a transmitter 6, a front wheel size previously stored in a RAM 30 and clock data obtained by a timer 28, stored in a register in the RAM 30, and displayed on an LCD display unit 11. When X- and Y- acceleration signals upon deflection of the receiver detected by an X-direction acceleration sensor 31 and a Y-direction acceleration sensor 32 exceed preset threshold levels, the acceleration detection signal of an 'H' level is supplied to the CPU 25 from a waveform detector 33 only during the period that the signals exceed the levels, and the display of the traveling state data of the unit 11 is deenergized. |
