PURPOSE: To prevent the falling-off and the disconnection of a lamp unit due to travelling vibrations by interposing a sheet packing between the peripheral flange of the lamp unit and a lamp body. CONSTITUTION: In this headlamp 1 for a vehicle, a lamp unit 16 comprising a reflector 17 opened in the front, a lens 22 fitted to the reflector 17 so as to cover the front and a light source bulb 19 disposed in an outer block composed of the reflector 17 and the lens 22 is supported in a lamp body 2. A sheet packing 25 is interposed between the peripheral edge of the lamp unit 16 and the lamp body 2. A plurality of ribs 27... extending in the circumferential direction over the nearly whole circumference of the peripheral surface of the sheet packing 25 are formed, and when the ribs 27 are constituted so as to abut on the inner surface of the lamp body 2, the vibration control performance is enhanced and further, the water proofing property is enhanced. |
