<p>PURPOSE: To obtain good electrification property of each toner particle, to maintain images with high image density and no fog and to obtain a toner which can endure for a long-term use by incorporating a charge controlling agent (CCA) for negative charges and a CCA for positive charges into a toner having small particle size (small size toner) and incorporating a CCA for negative charges to a toner having large particle size (large size toner). CONSTITUTION: The toner consists of a small size toner and a large size toner. The small size toner contains a CCA for negative charges and a CCA for positive charges, while the large size toner contains a CCA for negative charges. By preliminarily incorporating CCA for positive charges into the small size toner having bad dispersion of CCA for negative charges to increase charges, the increase of charges of the toner is suppressed for development. The production process of the toner consists of a process to classify a toner having 7-12μm center particle size into the small size toner having <5μm particle size and the large size toner larger than the small size toner, a process to subject the small size toner to surface treatment with CCA for positive charges, and mixing the small size toner after the surface treatment and the large size toner.</p> |
