<p>PURPOSE: To make the deformation of a cable (insulator) smaller than in the conventional method, shorten the working days for connection, and eliminate a bridge molding die. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing insulator 5 which is made of ethylene-α-olefin resin whose melting point is 100 deg.C or above is formed around a conductor connection S of a cable K integrally with the section S. Then, a molding die 1 is so located as to surround the conductor connection S of the cable K. After that, the inside of the molding die 1 is filled with a reinforcing insulator 5 which is made of heated and molten ethylene-α-olefin resin whose melting point is 100 deg.C or above and the reinforcing insulator 5 filling the molding die 1 and the reinforcing insulator 5 formed around the conductor connection S are integrated. Then, outer parts of the integrated reinforcing insulator 5 are cut off.</p> |
