PURPOSE: To prevent the transfer speed of a signal from decreasing by stray capacitances parasitized in inverters of a C-MOS shift register. CONSTITUTION: Transistors QN6 , QP6 charging and discharging electric charges of parasitic capacitances CS, CS' are constituted in gate circuits of transistors QP1 , QN2 for inversions to which an input signal V (STRT) is supplied among C-MOS transistors constituting the unit circuit (SR1 ) of a shift register so as to be opened and closed by the input signal V (STRT). Consequently, the transition time at the time a clock (VCLK) is reversed is made shorter to enable the high speed operation of the shift register. |
