Bearing for journal of cylinder in printing machine

The bearing is open at one side. It is for rotationally symmetrical components such as cylinder journals in printing machines. It has a threaded element (3) for the rotating component located on a fixed or pivoting fixture (1), fixed to a frame. The threaded element exerts a form-locking load on the snap closure (2), which operates on the journal to form a rotating, sliding linkage, in that the snap-closure is free to move against the threaded part in both a linear and a rotational direction. The snap-closure has a centring device to align it relative to the printing cylinder.
