Element for acoustic protection with two sheet=metal plates

The acoustic protection device (1) has one plate (2) made of solid sheet metal, while the other one is perforated. The two plates are set parallel to each other and sandwich an air gap. The end sections on the four front sides of the sheet metal plates are bordered. The space between the plates and the borders is filled with sound absorbing material. The border is formed as a peripheral, profiled frame (5-8) with a crimped contour on the side edge of the element. Pref. a trickle protection is formed between the perforated sheet metal plate and the sound absorbing material.
