PURPOSE: To lay out a link mechanism for shift operation to control the shift gear of an outboard motor, and a link mechanism for throttle operation to control the throttle opening interlocking to the link mechanism for shift operation, in a compact form. CONSTITUTION: While a shift arm 73 connecting to a shift operation lever, and the first regulating arm 74 are provided at the lower end and the upper end of a shift shaft 72 held vertically to an installing bracket 71 which is provided to the side wall of an engine, a throttle arm 91 connected to a throttle operation lever; and the second regulating arm 94 abutting to the first regulating arm 74, and to regulate the rotating angle of the throttle arm 91; are provided to a throttle shaft 90 held to the installing bracket 71 in the horizontal driction. The throttle arm 91 and the second regulating arm 94 are provided between the shift arm 73 and the first regulating arm 74. |
