PURPOSE: To provide an ink jet recording sheet in which print characteristics, such as solid uniformity, image density, and water resistance, are satisfactory. CONSTITUTION: In an ink jet recording sheet comprised of a support and an ink-receiving layer on it, the composition of the ink-receiving layer contains a cationic polymer and phosphate ester starch, and a weight ratio of the cationic polymer to phosphate ester starch is 10:1-1:10. It is preferable to use a specific cationic polymer and to specify a spread amount of an ink-receiving layer. |
