PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive anti-inflammatory agent secured in feedstock supply therefor, easy to process, and safe even if habitually used over a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: This anti-inflammatory agent either consists of or contains one of the following products: (1) a ground product of germinated rice; (2) an extract from rice or germinated rice; (3) a product obtained by subjecting hydrated rice or hydrated germinated rice to enzymolysis or koji; (4) a product obtained by subjecting rice or germinated rice to enzymolysis or koji prior to, during or after extraction thereof; and (5) a product obtained by alcoholic fermentation or organic acid fermentation of the product (2) or (4). |
