PURPOSE: To provide a tool for width-expanding attachment of a ring-form packing by which the diameter of a ring-form packing with a strong clamping force can be easily expanded, and it can be simply attached. CONSTITUTION: A tool for width-expanding attachment of a ring-form packing 5 has a shape wherein the diameter of a lower part of an upper cylinder 1 is gradually tapered out and transferred to a lower cylinder 3 of a larger diameter, and also has a circular recessed part 4 on the bottom of the lower cylinder 3.
