PURPOSE: To obtain a thermal recording material generating no sticking, in a thermal recording material wherein a thermal recording layer and a protective layer are successively provided on a support, by adding a binder having a specific softening temp. to the protective layer in a specific ratio with respect to the total amt. of the binder in the protective layer. CONSTITUTION: In a transparent thermal recording material enabling the direct recording due to a thermal head in order to correspond to multi-coloration or to project an image by an overhead projector and obtained by successively providing a thermal recording layer and a protective layer on a support, a binder having a specific softening temp. is used in the protective layer in a ratio of 60wt.% or more with respect to the total amt. of the binder of the protective layer. Further, the ratio of the pigment to binder in the protective layer is set so that the pigment becomes 100 pts.wt. or less per 100 pts.wt. of the binder. Furthermore, a haize value represented by (diffusion transmissivity/total light transmissivity)×100(%) is set to 40% or less. By this constitution, the thermal recording material generating no sticking is obtained. |
