<p>PURPOSE: To enhance the safety of the operation of a device by providing an external control device for transmitting the stop signal of the following traveling carrying device to a divided rail admission port when a load detecting sensor detects a traveling carrying device, and an extrusion detecting sensor detects the traveling carrying device. CONSTITUTION: A rail-to-rail conveyor (conveyor) 5A leaves a main rail 3 and requests an operation permission to an external control device to carry a traveling carrying device (carrying device) 7. When another carrying device 7 is not present within the conveyor 5A, the carrying device 7 is self-traveled to the center of a divided rail 2A. When it is stopped in a proper position Pi of the divided rail 2A, longitudinal load confirming sensors 8a, 8b lay a light receiver 24 into the interrupted state, which shows the presence of a load, extrusion confirming sensors 9a, 9b are laid in the light receiving state, which shows the presence of no extrusion, and the operation of the conveyor 5A is permitted. When the conveyor 5A requests the operation permission prior to the carrying device 7 arrived onto the main rail 3, the carrying advice 7 arrived at an admission port is stopped there.</p> |
