PURPOSE: To obtain a pseudo-bamboo material having a sense of grand bamboo having high knot by heating and softening the necessary part of a core material before or after the material is covered with ground color resin, and extending or shrinking by applying a tensile force. CONSTITUTION: A core material 3 is inserted into the chamber 1a of an extrusion molding machine, and a film of a ground color resin (P) is formed on the surface of the material while feeding it at a predetermined speed from its die port 1b. Simultaneously, the stem 3b including the material softened by the heat of the film resin is further heated and softened by a heater 7, and a covering material is drawn via a drawing unit 6 which is operated at a faster speed than the feeding speed of the material to extend only the stem to be reduced in diameter, and hence the diameter of the central part between the knots is thinned, thereby obtaining the shape of a grant bamboo to be obtained. |
