The multiple use container comprises two rectangular trays (1,2) each having four sides (11,12,13,14;21,22,23,24) and a bottom (10,20). One tray (1) can be introduced into the other, the internal tray having smaller dimensions than the external tray. Each tray has two square sides (11,12;21,22) provided with openings (15,16,18,19,25,26) located in opposite facing pairs, which allow introduction of a bar (3) which passes through the trays. Each opening is of rounded shape with a lateral notch (17,27). The bar which has a corresponding cross section has one end (30) folded in a right angle. Its other end (31) has a lug (32) projecting perpendicularly in the same direction as the folded end and of dimensions allowing it to pass in the notches.
