17-deoxy corticoid-21-carboxylic acid derivs. of formula (I) and their salts are new: R = 1-4C alkylene (opt. mono-unsatd. when ≥ 2C, poly unsatd. when ≥ 3C or cyclic, opt. substd. by alkyl and opt. interrupted or substd. by O, S, N); R1 = opt. substd. or annellated aryl, or heteroaryl; A = CHOH or CHCl in any steric configuration, CH2, CO or part of a 9(11) double bond; Y = H, F or Cl; Q = H, F or Me; and R2 = H or alpha - or beta -Me.
