Transfer method to move thermoplastic articles from multiple rows into single stacked row

The articles (5) are ejected from a forming die and picked up by a transfer unit (6). The unit is moved to a depositor station (7), the articles are put into a holder plate (10), the plate is moved in the direction of throughflow about distance of one row, the plate is lowered, and the articles are deposited on a carrier. The holder plate is then retracted by the distance of one row, raised. The articles above the plate are picked up and the front deposited row of articles is moved away. The deposited articles may be retained on the base by suction.
