METHOD FOR BALANCING OF VIDEO ARRANGEMENT AND VIDEO ARRANGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and a device for disposing by a method wherein dispositions of programs such as movie, audio program, audio visual program, analogous data are decided as a function of a band width and space ratio(BSR) of each disk of a system. SOLUTION: A BSR of a disk 410 is defined as a fact that a band width of a disk is divided by a space. The BSR of a program of the disk 410 is defined as a fact that gross forecast requirement about the program is divided by a space required for storing the program. In a preferred embodiment, a video disposition manager (software task of operating under a main control program of a server) 408 disposes a program on the disk 410 so that the BSR of a movie which is stored in the disk 410 conform most to the BSR of the disk 410.
