PURPOSE: To provide an outdoor machine of an air conditioner in which a synthetic resin rear cover and a front cover are improved in their strength. CONSTITUTION: A continuous groove is provided in a junction part 3a located on opposite sides of a rear cover 3 constituting a back surface and opposite side surfaces, and a first reinforcing member 3b having a screw hole in the upper end thereof is fitted over and fixed to the groove. The upper surface of a second reinforcing member 7 having an insertion hole 7b corresponding to the screw hole 3d brought into contact with the upper surface of a front cover 4 constituting the upper surface and the front surface. Hereby, the opposite sides and the upper surfaces of the rear cover 3 and the front cover 4 are reinforced to ensure a satisfactorily strong outdoor machine of an air conditioner. |
