<p>PURPOSE: To process, with high efficiency and reliability, various kinds of information in different formats by first transferring large capacity digital information such as television information to a display line at a specified timing, and then transferring small capacity information later. CONSTITUTION: According to the control of address lines 66 and 68, digital information is transferred from a graphic controller 60 to individual positions inside a VRAM 62 in 32 bits. The digital information in the VRAM 62 is serially transferred at high speed to any one of a television encoder 74, a stage 78 and an audio encoder 82 selected by four-bit data provided through a tag bus 86 at a different timing. The large capacity video and graphic information is transferred to the display line in synchronism with a specified timing. The comparatively small capacity television and audio information is transferred independently of the specified timing after the transfer of the large capacity information. Thus, the purpose is achieved by effectively utilizing a high-speed memory.</p> |
