PURPOSE: To obtain an air cleaner with a germicidal lamp which minimizes components and wirings deteriorated by ultraviolet rays and sucks smoothly the air flowing in. CONSTITUTION: In an air cleaner wherein a germicidal and dustcollecting unit 16 is fitted in a passage of the air sucked in, the germicidal and dust-collecting unit 16 comprises an intermediate plate 20, an electric dust-collecting means 17 fitted to an open part 26 in the center of the intermediate plate 20, germicidal lamp units 18 fitted to holding recessed parts 27 formed on the right and the left of the open part 26 and glow lamp units 19 fitted on the sides of holding projecting parts 28 formed outside the holding recessed parts 27, which are opposite to the germicidal lamp units 18. According to this constitution, it is possible to minimize components and wirings deteriorated by ultraviolet rays and also to suck smoothly the air flowing in. |
