<p>A method and composition for preventing, curing and/or soothing of ulcers and other gastrointestinal erosion in mammals, including man, in need of such treatment. The subject is administered an effective dose of a composition containing naturally occurring phospholipid in the form of lamellar bodies and a naturally occurring hydrophobic protein in a naturally occurring and nutritionally acceptable carrier. The composition is preferably a dried and powdered mixture of bananas, eggs and milk that may be dispersed in milk or water.</p> |
