BREWING HEAD FOR COFFEE PORTION CAPSULES IN AN ESPRESSO MACHINE

A brewing head for an espresso machine loaded with capsules that contain portions of coffee powder has a top part (1) with a spring-loaded ejector (13) that ejects the used coffee portion capsule (30) from the needle assembly. Thermal measures are also disclosed to improve the quality of the thus prepared espresso coffee, as well as a mechanism that automatically ejects the coffee portion capsule when the swivelling top part of the brewing head is opened.
