Chair with subframe seat and backrest

Two flexible and superposed plates or strips (2,5) of the chair are held to one another by a backrest (4) and the bottom part of this yields downwards against the front ends of the two plates which are held at kinetically relevant spacing. The body-support surfaces are mounted in pre-tension to their supports in both form and function, and the upper plate (5) has pre-formed curves as also the bottom plate (2), using a limited maximum distance between the rear parts of the two plates. The backrest and lumbar support (3) are made of flexible material and are held at adjustable securement points. The facility offers two or more seats, using an upswept design of backrest which is arched forward above the seat surface. The lumbar support is provided by adjoining strips or bars, with bars etc. of the top plate, lumbar support and lower plate all interconnected via a cross join. The seat and backrest are preferably upholstered.
