PURPOSE: To move a cover up and down safely by automatically engaging and disengaging a latch member in moving a cover member, and preventing the cover member from returning to a closing position covering an incubator when the latch member is at an engaging position. CONSTITUTION: When a lower incubator 36 is accessed, a cover member 80 is raised up to a position A in an arrow sign 302 direction. This upward movement is limited by a pin 100 and a vertical slot 106. The member 80 is turned until the latch members 122, 124 pass the top portion 310 of a hollow shaft 86 and a cam portion 95 is disengaged from a cam follower 144 so that the member 122, 124 are released. This time, the members 122, 124 prevent the member 80 from erroneously moving down to a closing position covering the incubator 36. When the member 80 is further turned, the lower incubator 36 can be accessed. When a work is terminated there, the member 80 is returned reversing the order up to now. Thereby, the member 80 can be safely moved to a releasing position. |
