PURPOSE: To fix a thermal recording material having high sensitivity and forming a developed color image good in stability. CONSTITUTION: A thermal recording material obtained by providing a thermal recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored electron donating dye precursor, an aromatic isocyanate compd. and an amino compd. on a support is used to be subjected to thermal recording and subsequently fixed. After thermal recording, heat treatment is performed at temp. lower than the lower m.p. among the melting points of the isocyanate compd. and the amino compd. to deactivate the aromatic isocyanate compd. |
