PURPOSE: To attain a high processing speed by reducing control information quantity sent to a control section. CONSTITUTION: The controller is provided with a sound source coordinate output means 2 outputting a position coordinate of a sound source, a code information generator 3 generating code information controlling the sound source position based on the coordinate of the sound source outputted from the output means 2, and a transfer characteristic processing circuit 4 generating a sound signal controlling a sound image position of the sound source signal based on code information outputted from the generator 3. Then the code information generator 3 divides a sound space into plural small regions and allocates a code corresponding to each small region and provides an output and the transfer characteristic processing circuit 4 is made up of a variable coefficient filter converting the sound source signal, and a coefficient memory setting device setting the filter coefficient depending on the code information outputted from the code information generator 3. |
