<p>PURPOSE: To prevent motion mis-detection by integrating a signal including motion information obtained by a difference signal between two frames over a preceding definite frame period so as to detect correctly a motion of an object even when the object is moving at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: A color TV signal of the NTSC system given to an input terminal 1 is given to a frame memory 2 whose capacity is two frames (1050H). A subtractor circuit 3 calculates a difference between an input and an output of the memory 2, that is a difference between the two frames. Then the inter-2- frame difference signal is given to an information conversion circuit 4, in which the signal is converted into a signal representing a motion and a time base integration circuit 5 integrates the motion information over preceding definite frame period of the same picture element or the surrounding picture elements. Thus, desired accurate motion information is outputted from an output terminal 6.</p> |
