PRODUCTION OF POLYIMIDE-ESTER ELASTOMER

摘要

PURPOSE: To produce a new polyimide-ester elastomer having a uniform elastomer structure and showing excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties in a hardness region including a low-hardness region industrially in good reproducibility. CONSTITUTION: This production process comprises polycondesing at least an aromatic imide compound represented by the formula (wherein Ar is a bivalent aromatic group having at least one aromatic ring; and R is a 5-12 C aliphatic hydrocarbon group) with at least one diol compound selected from between a polyoxyalkyleny glycol and anα,ω-dihydroxyhydrocarbon under heating while removing an alcohol by-product from the system.
