PURPOSE: To prevent damage to the rubberized cloth or freight, caused by a valve used for filling a dunnage bag with air or for discharging it, by embedding the valve seat, preliminarily fitted with a valve, in the part where the rubberized cloth of the bag body is stuck part to part. CONSTITUTION: A valve seat 2 preliminarily fitted with a valve is composed of valve 3 and a plate-shaped flexible member. The valve 3 is made of a metal and forms an integral component jointly with the rubber molding, which is the plate-shaped flexible member. The valve seat 2 is formed in a shape having a flange parts 4, 5 of which, disposed on the right and left of the valve respectively, are bent so that the valve seat 2 can be embedded in the part where the rubberized cloth of the body of the dunnage bag is stuck part to part. The respective forward ends of these parts 4, 5 are made to adhere to each other and likewise the two rear ends, to each other. When the dunnage bag is used, the bent parts, respectively on the right and left, are put between the parts of the rubberized cloth stuck together and fixed in a manner of adhesion or the like. Therefore, from consideration of the hermetic effect and the prevention of leakage it is desirable for the shape of the valve seat which is to be embedded, specifically the plate-shaped flexible member of the valve seat 2 spread into a plane figure, to form more or less an ellipse with a large difference between the major and minor axes. |
